Why is professional support important?

The grief associated with pregnancy and newborn loss is powerful. Feelings of shock, guilt, depression and anger are normal, but grief left unrecognized, ignored, or unmanaged can result in upheaval and unresolved issues for the woman/ couple or their family. By actively working through this grief, they will learn to move forward while incorporating this loss into their lives moving forward.

How can we help?

We can walk with them on this very individual journey of grief as they adjust to their loss. At Lilac Insights, we believe that it is important to talk about their loss and their baby – the fantasies and hopes and joys they held for their life together. We know how to support them through this so they are not alone.
